May’s book club selection is Morally Straight: How the Fight for LGBTQ+ Inclusion Changed the Boy Scouts—and America by Mike De Socio. Mike will be joining us for a discussion about his book on Thursday, May 22nd at 8 PM ET/5 PT PT. I’ll send out more info and a registration link next week!

Our next book club discussion is this weekend, and for April we read Fair Play: How Sports Shape the Gender Debate.

We’ll be meeting on Sunday, April 27th at 2 PM ET/11 AM PT, and we’ll be joined by author Katie Barnes for the chat. Registration is required for access to the event (registration link is at the bottom of this email).

The discussion will be recorded and sent out afterwards for people who can’t attend in real time, but you must be registered for the event to receive the recording.

My hope for these syllabi is two-fold: 1) for anyone who doesn’t have time to read the book but still wants to join the discussion, and 2) for folks who have read the book and want to continue reading about the topic. None of this reading is required! It is 100% optional.
