Thanks for being here! I am a full-time freelance sports writer. Paid subscriptions to this newsletter allow me to dedicate more time to this work, including hiring an editor to help me with longer, more involved posts. This financial support will also help me shoulder the costs of my planned move to Beehiiv, which has been a long time coming.

Paid subscribers also have access to a Discord server where we chat queer women’s sports, as well as events like our monthly book club (this month’s selection is One of the Boys by Victoria Zeller). You can upgrade here:

I’m preparing to launch a new queer fashion series called “Out Fits,” and Natasha Cloud will be the first athlete featured. As I have been going through many years of photos of Cloud, something very interesting became apparent—while this is the first WNBA season that Cloud and Isabelle Harrison have been super open with the public about their four-year relationship, they hadn’t exactly been hiding it, either (Cloud is a Pisces, notoriously a sign with Lover Girl energy. Harrison is a Libra, cute vibes together, those signs).

For those paying attention, the social media clues to the two’s connection have been present for years, long before Satou Sabally (inadvertently?) publicly confirmed their relationship during an Unrivaled live game broadcast earlier this year.

They weren’t even WNBA teammates at this point.
You get the idea.

Turns out the visual evidence has been there, as well. Coming off an interview about their relationship as both partners and teammates in the New York Times last week (and the pair taking on the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA playoffs starting today), I thought I’d share a few of the not-so-hidden signs I found while going through photos.

I’m sure there is so much more than just the pictures I’ve included below, but I loved stumbling across these little breadcrumbs in the photo archive. Tizzy was always hiding in plain sight—if you knew where to look.
